Because I saw that many thread told to replace the msata for the Wireless Card.
Are there cards that have the controller on board and use a standard PCIe interface?
That Wireless card, is wwan card, or the wlan card?
I was hoping to add a solid state lotto alberta 649 drive for some storage off my main.I don't think that you can place a mSata drive into either the wlan or wwan slots, as they are both mPCIe slots, not mSata slots, even though they look the same.Special Events, thinkPad Notebooks, lenovo Notebooks, lenovo B and G Series Notebooks.I have a Dell Inspiron 1520, and I have three mini-PCIe slots, only one used.I see alot of these cards being produced specifically for netbooks, but it looks like the netbooks bring out sata or pata lines to the PCIe card connector in a way that a standard laptop does not. Also, is it possible to install and enable all three of them at the same time?
Performance isn't an issue, even a USB based card would be fine.
